Sometimes
Yes sometimes
Some of the time
Poets try to rhyme
But they forget their tongues in a jar of grammatic lime
So when they write all that comes out is laced with grime
Dirty poems that give readers jibes
So I have my poems written digitally on notepads skyped and
Broadcast immediately to a bunch of lunatics_ eh, meant to say; lyric poets with gripes
Hence I don’t attend sessions anymore because of their vibes
And the silly gabbles they call poetry

On certain days I don’t even write
I wire my thoughts with ink on pages white
Until the black of my heart fills me with blithe
I know that I can’t other poets rhymes bite
Hence I fight
In gibberish
With my mind
Until a stanza oozes of puss so right
Like the joy that comes from scratching a swollen pimple
They all think my shit is abstract
But its so simple
I sit on the lavatory like everybody and I let my ass tell the story

Sometimes the rhymes are brown and thick
Sometimes they stick
In your mind until you decide to hate the way I hold a pen
Maybe I hate pens
Maybe I hate the shit people write
Maybe I hate the publishers
Maybe I hate that fact that you expected to find catharsis in this poetrific dribble
Maybe I hate poetry
Maybe I hate silly people who think poetry is easy
Just maybe…
Maybe this poem is fed up of being analyzed
What’s a poem anyway but indescribable alphabetic throwups on a paper
Screen
Tissues I write on
Then what if I wipe my bum with it
Will it still rhyme
Who cares about metres, metaphors, similes, word associations and recitations
People want swag, pap and mince
Not meaning…

So here it goes
One two one two
F@#k a poem…
