Biography

Themba lam

Enlarge poem

Langa lam elimhlophe, ngubo yam ebomvu, mthi wam womdiliya. Undinxilisa intliziyo, undikhanda ubuchopho, undilahla iingcinga. Mhla ndava kuthethwa, kusithiwa, izulu livumile ngam nawe. Umhlabathi uxhentsa nathi sobabini.

Elam ithembha ndilijulile, lagangwa nguwe. U-ewe umkhuphile, njonga ngoku, sesinjenje okwee ntaka zibhabha emajuku jukwini.

Kaloku, ndithe ngo nkqo nkqoza kakhulu. Ndavulelwa, kwathwa mandi ngene, ndizinzw, ndijonge kuwe, ukuba uthando luthandwa kanjani.
S’botshwa sam sentliziyo, mdiliya wam obomvu wena uchithele umphefumlo wam ngemincili. Wathatha isandla sam sesbini, kwaphothana iintliziyo, kwavuma uthando.

Umoya wam umbambhile, esandleni sakho undigcinile. Nobasendi hambha ndingazazi, amehlo am uwaphandlile…
Ndibona wena wedwa, ndifuna wena wedwa, ecamkwam sisedwa. Simanyanee novuyo.

Sihambhe nemini, sigqunywe bubumnyama bezulu, sikhanyise inkwenkwezi, sifezekise amaphupha. Njengobo awethu afezekile.

Ndikubeka phezulu, phambi koTHixo ngoba ndisithi, ndifuna ubanawe. Yena uthi, uluthando, mna ndithi.. NDikuthandile!

Translation
Themba lam means my hope and this poem is about the leap of faith we all take when falling in love. “Love is hope… As you stand outside its doors, it turns into courage. That moves you to touch, what it can handle and opens itself to you as a gift.”

Special train

Khwela sowubhatele,is the name of the train. Uzoyibona ngontlintlitheka emadongeni, ukuba uhambho liyawa fikelele esphelweni. Uzozibona ngama duma ukuba you! Were on a special train, with no final destination, u-fast lo u-line,izivubeko ngumcimbi mtshana, khandilatheza mna. Noko akhonto ndiygxameleyo… Amanyala enziwa ezinzulwini zobusuku, apho Omama nootats batyela abantwana. Bezithaphulela bezimfimfithela, besenza idinga nosatane, bengcolisa iimizimbha, bephuhlisa ubunganto. Bexutha ubuthixo ebantwaneni.. Ngoluphi na oluthando elingena straight, elungena line, lithatha lizibeke, lithatha lizisondeze, lithatha lizanelise, liphosele ukufa ekukhanyeni.. Yesus! Ndakwenzela inkawu ngenja mna kwedini..and kwaye uzayibeleka ikrwempa kanti. Ndicela usondela, ndicela undimamele, ndicela ujonge eliyalanga aliphumi, liyatshona, ubumnyama bundongamele, ukufa kusezi nyaweni, ukulahleka kuse zeznweni, emphefumlweni, emehlweni nase ntliziweni.. Kawuze, wena ekukhanyeni, ungcamle nanga amanzi, ungcamle nanku umqondo osindisayo. uguquke uhambhe, ubaxelela boonke, ukuba akhonto intsha phantsi kweliya ilanga, ingaba ndiyakunyela, bandithi ikhona..yonke into ephilayo, ephefumlayo iya ekufeni, ekugqibeleni, kengoku wena ungxameleni?.. Waleqa ukufa, okwenja emotweni. Gawu lathaze, ufast lo uline and akhonto siyingxameleyo!

Translation

The poet use the metaphor of life as a train ride, what she calls “the spacial train”. The poem is an appeal to humanity to slow down, listen, and reflect on the nature of our lifestyles. She thinks the current way of life is a special train in the express lane to nowhere.

Biography

Babalwa RedSeed Ngcivana was born a muted soul, unable to express feeling, so she screams through scripted thoughts. She hails from Eastern Cape, South Africa.

She is a creative soul who believes that we are all sent with a message to deliver on this earth, everyone we meet has something to transfer unto us whether it’s good or bad. At the end it is all about how we react to the message that will determine if we rise.
