Badilisha Live May 2010

21 May 2010

City Hall, Cape Town

Too late to book!

Badilisha Live showcased the multiplicity of poetic expression over two nights of performances on the 21st and 22nd May 2010, as well as for the Africa Day Celebration on the 25th May.

We were extremely excited to welcome Anis Mojgani, Blaq Pearl, croc E moses, D’bi Young and Kwame Dawes as our poetic guests for these events. And we were not disappointed. Prior to these performances, from the 18th-22nd May, the five poets were also involved in the X-Change part of the Badilisha programme, conducting master classes under the theme X-Cavate, visiting schools and taking part in public discussions aimed at providing a space to reflect on the poetic art form.

These poets and others are featured via podcasts and interviews on Badilisha Poetry Radio during the May events.
