The new strategy for the Badilisha Poetry X-Change is to include two annual live poetry events which include performances, seminars and workshops and TO create a new internet-based radio station that will podcast a range of poets from Africa and its Diaspora. The radio platform( CUT show) was borne from the need to expand and grow beyond the constraints of physical, live events, SINCE THE only way to provide an outlet for HUNDREDS of poets and access by millions is through a virtual medium.
In its third incarnation Badilisha Poetry X-Change (CUT will) therefore NOW consist(S) of two project streams, comprising (CUTof):
- Two live events to take place annually in May and November; and
- A new Internet-based radio station, producing weekly podcasts and (CUT a monthly) themed discussion(S )via its blog.
