Biography:

As one of South Africa's fastest rising Hip Hop artists, Jitsvinger (Quintin Goliath) has featured prominently on a number of compilations following the release of his debut album, Skeletsleutel, in 2006. He has performed at the 2008 Fleur de Cap Awards, Township Tours in Kalkfontein, Voorkamerfees in Darling, The Cape Town Book Fair, Levi's Vintage Sundays, and at the Migration Music Festival held in Taiwan.

As a keen collaborator, Jitsvinger has been involved in groundbreaking works with Swiss musicians and emcees for an intercontinental cultural exchange project called Rogue State of Mind. With a passion for music and poetry that transcends even rhythm and chords, he has been involved in a number of documentaries and musical theatre projects, namely, Hip Hop Connected at Artscape, Maak It Aan, a documentary about the artist, directed by Nadine Cloete, debuted at the Encounters Documentary Festival.

In 2010, Jitsvinger is putting together his second album, promoting the love for his vernacular, creative independence and the power of the spoken and written word.
